I’m Jordan Cary, owner of JetSkiNerd LLC. I started my journey in the jet ski world way back in 2008 riding SXI 750s with my cousin. I have some great memories riding in the surf and trying dumb tricks on cheap skis. Around 2017, I entered the freestyle world with my first flatwater ski, an RCW havoc – man do I miss that ski! I had a blast learning to flip on a stock stroke 781! Since then I’ve owned loads of motor packages such as PHP 1015s, TPE 1105s, TPE 1200s, XS 1200s, ported 760s, ported 701s, ET 1107 – I even have a BUN 1200 on the shelf. I’ve ridden long hulls, short hulls and everything in between. I enjoy riding just as much as I enjoy building parts. I have a passion for CAD design and machining and I’m a software engineer for a day job. I’ve been a gear head all my life and built countless custom cars.
As I progressed in the Jet Ski world, I found it difficult to source parts so I started collecting machine tools instead of trying to contact difficult to work with sellers. With the machines I have in-house at JSN, I’m able to design and prototype just about anything. I don’t pay a third party to do designs and, since I’m able to ride flatwater at a reasonably high level (well, for an old dude), I can directly test and iterate on the parts we sell. This is what sets JSN apart – the guy designing your parts and building your motor is the same guy going out and testing all the parts.
We’re just getting started as a business in the Jet Ski world and understand how important customer service and rider support is. That’s why we’re doing our best to keep all maintenance parts in stock and offer a one-stop-shop for everything you need for our engine packages. We hate long lead times just like you, so we’ve done our best to keep parts on the shelf and reduce wait times for built-to-order purchases like complete engines.
